It's that time of year again... It's almost Labor Day and the kids are ready to go back to school (or at least the parents are ready). Many of us have been thrown off our old school year routines. This fall, think twice before you fall back into the same old routine as last year. Take stock of the situation and ask yourself if it really worked for you. Now might be a good time to spice things up. A new class or a new type of exercise is the most straightforward way to bring something new to the table, but consider some other options... If you have set endurance goals for yourself, sign up for a race this fall. If you walk into the gym and head straight to the cardio equipment or you always take a class, sign up for some training sessions and introduce weight training to your fitness routine. Whatever you need to do to motivate yourself and set yourself up for success this year, do it. So, enjoy what is left of the summer, and find that something new for the fall.
