Humans are creatures of habit. Along with countless other people, sometimes I go through my daily tasks with such repetition that I fail to notice when some things actually need to change. Even if you're very happy with you're life, it's also human nature to reach for more. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's right. It's a change for the positive that keeps life interesting and illuminates new and interesting goals for you to challenge yourself to achieve. I try to work everyday to create a peaceful, healthy and happy life filled with family and friends. I know that I'll never be perfect, but I always want to try to be better for myself and for my family. I challenge you all to make a change in your lives this month! It doesn't have to be a big change, but the challenge is that it has to take you one step closer to a more fulfilling life. So, I want you to take on this challenge with me this month. I want you to ask yourself, what area of your life you'd like to improve. Is it your workouts? Your work-life? The amount of time you set aside for YOU? Your relationship? The quality time you spend with your family? Once you decide what you'd like to improve, pick one action you can do this month that will help you feel more fulfilled on a daily basis. Remember, it doesn't' have to be a huge commitment. Just a small action to propel yourself in the direction you want to head. If you want to improve your workouts, commit to 15 extra minutes of exercise a week. If it's your job, maybe go to grab a coffee or lunch with a different co-worker to grow more relationships at work. If you run around like a crazy person taking care of everyone else every day like I do and you want to take more time for yourself, commit to stretching for 10 minutes after every workout. If it's your relationship, try starting and finishing every day with "I love you". If it's quality time with your family, try dedicating one night a week that you all sit down at the table together for dinner. Whatever it is you want to improve, pick your heads up, zoom in on it and pick one small action to do this month. I know we'll all be happy we accepted this challenge! ...
